Billie Clarken (*1992, USA): Manipulating and reappropriating images of Americana from celebrities to tchotchkes factors centrally in Billie Clarken’s work. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the Universität der Künste, Clarken has an upcoming museum solo show at DOCK20, Austria, and has previously exhibited at venues including A+ Gallery, KaDeWe, Noho Studios (London) and Quaid Gallery (Tampa, Florida).
