Vikenti Komitski (*1983, Bulgaria): Assemblage and collage factor prominently in Vikenti Komitski’s practice. In Komitski’s sculptures, this manifests as the merging of readymade objects with metal, accented with evocative animal elements in his Modern Monsters series. A graduate of the Universität der Künste, Berlin and the National Academy of Art, Sofia, Komitski has exhibited his work all around Europe, most recently the Kunstverein Familie Montez (Frankfurt), the OSTRALE Biennale für zeitgenössische Kunst (Dresden) and HVW8 (Berlin).
