“how to trap nothing” is a mixed media work dealing with perception of empty space. The net motif is informed by and emulates digital mapping and relativity theory. The net frames empty space and gives it a fleeting materiality.
Abie Franklin was born in Jerusalem in 1995. He is studying fine arts/ painting at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißenesee and graduating in 2021. Abie’s interdisciplinary practice investigates perception of space in the Anthropocene. He has exhibited in Germany, Serbia, Israel and China.
