Victor Payares (1985, Cuba) studied Painting at the Royal College of Art, London. His work, often brightly coloured and surrealistic, explores recollection and visual discourse through painting and sculpture, with recurring themes of memory, mapping, and architecture. Auto Repair holds a memory, leaving a gentle scar of color. The artist recently exhibited at Galerie Anton Janizewski, Berlin.
