Johannes Jakobi (*1991, Germany): Multimedia artist Johannes Jakobi uses impressive experimentation with technology to make heartfelt, haptic and evocative sensory experiences. With manual for institutional sabotage, Jakobi provides a tool to “provoke a local power failure by causing an electric short cut and kill-switch the fuse with no possibility to turn the electricity back on until the tool is found and removed.” Jakobi studied Fine Arts at Berlin’s Universität der Künste and has previously shown work at the Museum für Fotografie, Berlin.
