Katharina Arndt (*1981, Germany): Katharina Arndt’s hip, minimal paintings evoke the line drawings of childlike cartoons to represent pastel-hued, sharply drawn dispatches from a more mature reality: bikini selfies, stubbly legs, sunburns and cigarette breaks. It’s no wonder, then, that her solo show at Barcelona’s Galería Uxval Gochez was called Forever Young.
