Florine Imo (*1995 in Germany) works and lives in Vienna, Austria. Imo’s paintings fluctuate between euphoric party scenes, playful, stereotypical representations of females and secretive meetings which the viewer just stumbled upon and interrupted. The artist sees the figures in her paintings as independent beings, caring for each other, working together and building up their own cosmos. Her work has most recently been shown in the Shin Gallery in NY, Plan Gallery in Verona and JPS Gallery in Tokyo.
