Franziska Reinbothe (*1980 in Germany) studied fine art at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. Her work untitled shows an examination of the medium of painting focused on the material and the conceptual definition of what defines a painting. “This work show a painting you would get if you stretch a huge painted canvas on a stretcher frame, that is far too short.” Her most recent exhibition includes a group show at the Hamburger Kunsthalle.
