Sophia Süßmilch (*1983, Germany): The colourful characters of Sophia Süßmilch’s paintings are simultaneously silly, innocent, twisted and brazenly lascivious, contorting and connecting in blue-tinted negative space. Süßmilch is a graduate of the Academies of Fine Arts in both Vienna and Munich, and has had solo shows most recently at Galerie Russi Klenner (Berlin), Büro Weltausstellung (Vienna) and Galerie Martinetz (Köln).
