Welcome to Weserhalle Art Auction 13, co-curated by Matthias Arndt. Showcasing over 40 artworks from a blend of local and international artists, this week-long auction is divided into two parts: The online aspect allows you to bid on each of the artworks in our auction here at weserhalle.com. The physical exhibition at Weserstraße 56 allows you to experience a selection of the artworks in person.

Matthias Arndt

Matthias Arndt is an art expert, artist agent and advisor to private collections and museums. After running an international gallery business for two decades, Arndt co-founded Arndt Art Agency (A3).

Matthias is a member of the Asia Pacific Acquisition Committee (APAC) of TATE and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation of the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Together with his wife Tiffany, in 2013 Matthias initiated the BERLIN MASTERS Foundation, which over ten years supported Berlin based artists with financial support, mentoring and an annual exhibition. Since 2022 the Arndt Family Art Foundation Arndt Foundation continues this legacy. It also manages the Family Art Collection, a private art space and supports artist projects, donations to museums and institutional acquisitions of emerging artists. The Foundation is a Founding Member of the Hamburger Bahnhof Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart’s International Companions Circle.
