Our next exhibition featuring Jung A Lee will open next week on Friday, March 10th. Born in Seoul, Korea in 1995, Lee currently lives and works in Berlin while studying fine art and painting at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin. Her works explore the process of capturing and reproducing unconscious potential situations or states.
Lee was awarded the Mat Stam scholarship from the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin, and has participated in several group exhibitions in Germany, including -188+x (Balzac), Uelzen (2019) and Passive Aggressive in Berlin (2021). She has also exhibited in Korea, with a solo exhibition titled “Strength of a Moment” at Tya Gallery in Seoul (2021) and in the #Youth Group exhibition at CICA Museum in Gimpo, Korea (2022).
