Weserhalle presents a new solo exhibition by German artist Jochen Mühlenbrink. Known for his refined trompe-l’œil practice, Mühlenbrink turns to mirror glass as both surface and subject. Fog-like veils of resin partially obscure the viewer’s reflection, interrupted by simple gestures — smiley faces, stick figures, smudges — playful traces suspended between presence and disappearance. The show begins with a painted window intervention referencing a local graffiti tag: Adham was here. Like the works inside, it’s a fleeting mark reframed — part of Mühlenbrink’s quiet meditation on seeing ourselves seeing.
