Guest Curators

Tjioe Meyer Hecken is the Director of the Wehrmuehle, the historic home of Art Biesenthal. She curates exhibitions that forge connections between tradition, place, and contemporary artistic vision. Her curatorial approach emphasises an immersive experience, inviting visitors to engage with art and nature in a serene setting. She is dedicated to offering a platform for both established and emerging artists, fostering meaningful connections and cross-disciplinary dialogue.

Jan Gustav Fiedler, Artistic Director of Spark Art Fair Vienna since 2023, works as a curator with international galleries, and institutions. His curatorial practice follows the approach of offering young and emerging artists in particular a platform for contemporary narratives. Often, historical spaces form the architectural framework of these projects, whose contents connote the original function of these places in a new way. Fiedler has realised such exhibitions in Austria, Germany, Italy, Serbia, and the USA, among others.
