Ross Hansen (1973, British): Lives in the United Kingdom. Studied Master of Fine Art at Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, and BA Hons Fine Art at University of Newcastle upon Tyne. “Standard Painting no.3” builds deep layers of transparent acrylic paint to replicate materiality; results are ultra hand-made representations and reconstructions of ‘standardized’ art forms. Recently exhibited at Le Manoir – Centre d’art, Mouthier-Haute-Pierre, France.
