Irene Fernández Arcas, (1987, Spain) studied Painting at Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee. An interdisciplinary artist, she creates installations blending painted textiles, objects, photography, and performance to explore spirituality, care, and the healing power of art. The artwork Lesbian Cruising captures a series of fantasies from summer in Hasenheide. The artist recently exhibited at Centro Museo José Guerrero, the Venice Biennale, and Kunstmuseum Bochum.
