Sinéad Butler-Aldridge (1963, Ireland) studied Fine Art Painting at Camberwell College of Arts, London, and completed an MA at IADT Dublin. Her richly layered abstract works blend performative mark-making with themes of identity and human presence. The artwork Portrait explores the theme of risk-taking and mark-making. The artist recently exhibited at Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK.
