Florian Donnerstag (1990, Austria) studied Painting at the Akademie der bildenden Künste München. His work, including Trousers and Pants, explores the dissolution of symbols and the precarious situation of meaning through abstract forms and motifs. Donnerstag’s paintings do not follow a predetermined narrative, instead focusing on anti-symbolic structures and the interpretation of the viewer, and he recently exhibited at Elektrohalle Rhomberg, Salzburg.
