Emil Urbanek x Stiftung KPM: Never Empty

We are delighted to share that Emil Urbanek presents Never Empty, a new edition created during his Artist-in-Residence at the Stiftung Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin.

Opening: Monday 8 September, 6.30 to 9 pm
On view: 9 September to 15 October, Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm
Studio 1763 im KPM Pavillon, Kurfürstendamm 32, 10719 Berlin

Emil was awarded the inaugural KPM Artist-in-Residence at Art Düsseldorf earlier this year, selected by a jury drawn from the Düsseldorf and Berlin art scenes. The residency took place this summer at the manufactory in Berlin, a two-week working phase exploring the dialogue between contemporary painting and KPM’s tradition of master painting on porcelain. Never Empty is the result of that exchange.

The exhibition also features in the programme of Currents, Berlin’s new city-wide design event, from 9 to 12 September.
