Vanessa Amoah Opoku (*1992, Germany): Opoku presents “Rooted Resurgence,” a series emerging from a critical engagement with the plant collection of the Palermo Botanical Gardens. She transforms point cloud scans in virtual space, printing them on acrylic glass to imagine new futures in botany and the colonial history of art. Vanessa studied Fine Art at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. Her recent exhibition was at EIGEN + ART Lab.
